











Starting in grades 5-6 you can already make good use of the free content on mathinee.com. On this site, we have posted some lecture notes meant for review and self-study.
There are over 300 original problems on mathinee.com. By solving problems, you can become 'top problem solver of the week' and receive a mini-scholarship for Goods of the Mind math or programming classes.
Participation in contests such as Math Kangaroo, AMC-8 and MATHCOUNTS is the principal tool for incentivizing the study of math. We recommend that students focus first on obtaining an almost full score on AMC 8 before moving on to AMC 10. Experience shows that the score on AMC 8 is a very good indicator of future performance on AMC 10 and AIME. A newer contest,Purple Comet has extremely good problem sets - you can use them for training or you can set up a team and participate!
