We have had the honor to help organize the award ceremonies for the Math Kangaroo contest in 2010 and 2011. The award recipients are students from Northern California.
Our students have made a good show at AMC 10 and AMC 12 in 2012. Many of them have qualified for AIME with comfortable scores which encourage them to work towards USA(J)MO qualification.
The cutoff score for 2011 AMC 10 A: 115.5
The cutoff score for 2011 AMC 10 B:

The cutoff score for 2011 AMC 12 B:
Their USJAMO qualification index will be computed adding the largest score obtained on AMC 10 and 10 times the number of correct answers on AIME (15 questions, 150 maximum points). The USAJMO cutoff is usually around 200 points. The USAMO index is computed in the same way, using the largest AMC 12 score.

Our grade 8 team has made it to the top! Strong scores from Saran P., Augustine C. and Eric H. have propelled the team to 2nd place in the San Francisco Bay Area.
Saran P. has also obtained an Honorable Mention based on his individual score.
